Is currently looking for:
Job Summary:
  • Ensures that all activities in the Rehabilitation (In-House) program are well planned and implemented with proper follow-ups and monitoring;
  • Responsible for the leading and supervising the In-House Staff and drafting the development of the program through new initiatives, projects and partnerships towards healing and recovery of the In-house beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operation of the center-based rehabilitation program;
  • Supervises and mentors the residential care staff towards timely attainment of planned activities and targets to include school and home visits and psycho-social assistance to the family;
  • Oversee the judicious disbursements of funds of the center-base rehabilitation program within the appoved budget or reasonable level;
  • Monitors the status of the girls in the center to include educational, legal, medical, and psychosocial assistance;
  • Reviews the target plan, monitors the progress development of each girls and evaluate individual cases of children with the residential care staff;
  • Assists the Program Officer in the conduct of case conferences and interventions with families, social workers and local authorities;
  • Ensures that the rules and regulations in the rehabilitation centers are respected and complied by the staff, beneficiares and partners;
  • Consolidates and ensures timely submission of relevant documents and reports such as intake sheets, progress reports, monthly and annual accomplishment reports and other required reports/documents;
  • Leads the preparation of project proposals, annual work plans and budgets of the center-based rehabilitation program in coordination with the residential staff;
  • Establishes networks and linkages with schools, organization, LGU’s, service providers and professionals;
  • Makes suggestions on the courses of actions and conducts performance planning and appraisal of residential care staffs.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to:  Executive Director
Supervises:  Social Workers and 4 Housemothers
Coordinates:  Program Officer, Health Coordinator, Sports Coordinator, ComDev Team, AC Team, Finance Team, AdminHr, In-house Psychologist
Person Specification and Competencies:
  • Must have a Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or other Social Sciences;
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in an NGO work with two (2) years supervisory experience;
  • Experience in casework management and familiar with treatment plan, individual group counselling and psychosocial interventions;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Must be compassionate with children
  • Upholds honesty, integrity and sense of confidentiality
  • Good report writing and presentation skills
  • Good grasp of concept paper and/or proposal development
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team
  • Possesses positive leadership skills
  • Must be willing to work beyond regular working hours and working days
